I N G E N U I T Y

Gifted with ingenuity

Men strode to search

For wisdom and proficiency

To reach peak

Of civilization, in pockets.

Blunted by ideologies

Of free and strangled States

And by demagogues

The vision narrowed

In fear of Demon of security

To which the best

Ingenuity driven; to gift

Unconcern of poverty at bay

To devise arsenal

To reduce civilization

And greenery of lives

To dust in minutes.

TO CHILDREN

Dear Future leaders

            You are the nectar

            Of life, for men

A link between

Present and future

You are the light,

Torch bearers for humanity

The force behind activity

Without you, the foundation

Of life, would not in existence.

            You are the moulder

            Of men thoughts

            Truth and uninhibited

            Things flow from you

You are the lover and loved

You call a spade, a spade

            In proper perspective

            With your power of innocence

            And not colour it

As does the grown up:

                        Growing up, remember, these

                        For now, we have forgotten

                        Plunged into general pit fall,

                        You all need not.

            As we love a

Flower, fragrance, its delicacy

It should be continuous

And lasting

Same manner, let do

Humanity as a whole,

Not fragmentary

Not creating divisions

As through pages of Earth.

Every grown up man seeks you

Every grown up man protects you

            But how come

Men doing it privately?

Have succumbed to passion

Of power and mighty power

            When facing the World.

                        In you children

Love is entrapped in abundance

In you, division not exists

For that is nature

For that is life of truth

For that is what it should be.

            Instead of protecting you all

The world is at precipice of handing over

A culture of high technology

To decimate the very life

The Earth has provided

By incomprehensible actions.

 Amidst, gloomy clouds,

Let there be sweet voices of you all,

Voices of innocence and brave

Love and infectious smiles

To extinguish the invincible

Flame of power

And bring harmony and peace

To live, thrive, and languish

For long, long, long ……………….

UNIVERSAL

The air we breath

The words we speak

The thoughts that drift;

That plants in the mind

The awareness that keeps

Bubbling the enthusiasm

The knowledge that unravels

The incomprehensible

To comprehensible and on…..

Are all the things

That do not belong

To us, but who?

It is He

The Self

            The Universal.

REFLECTION NOT REALITY

The message is clear

As the day light

Easily susceptible

The mind

Chases the deceptive

The objective

Nestling, nourishing

Tree of desire

And instinct.

Looking into

Star studded sky

The Sun, the moon

The mighty ocean

The mighty cosmos

The multitude living things

The nonliving

Yet all sutured

To perfection

Including himself.

Stands aghast !

Doubts hovering

Unable to delve deep

To find reality !

INFINITE

It is too vast

A world

To comprehend

By individual

It is too vast

A world

To behave to whims

Of individual

It is too vast

A world

To cater to absoluteness

Of individual

It is too vast

A world

To be true

Nothing belongs

To individual

It is too vast

A world (of choice or chosen)

Tumbling along

At HIS behest.

A SEARCH

Searched searched

Every where

Not finding any where

Gone awry

Kindling

Everything thing

Coming in the way

For possession

Every moment falling short

Spending every renewed

Efforts

To chase the daunting

Things of control and power

More and more

Unquenchable till …….

Last moments

Failing to recognize

Deception

In the air of search

Residing in the shell

Of 'Self'.

TAKING ON

How much !

Pounding you take

From dirty hands

Of men, the creature

You created.

On way absorbing

All the sudden wrought

With utmost care

And love

To preserve

Thy nature

With vigor

To all other creations

Who standby

Mutely.
